Visits to Excite, Educate and Engage
The Owl Cave Education Centre is open to visits from local Schools and Educational institutions. Where you can learn much more than the basic information about our owls and birds of prey.
A visit to the Owl Cave Education Centre teaches pupils about the ecosystems around them and enables them to experience the wonder of the natural world which can contribute to a pupil’s spiritual development and well-being, and can help to cultivate in them a sense of place and sense of belonging. It can develop a child's ability to solve problems in real-world contexts as they have experiences that are as engaging, exciting and accessible as possible.
You can use the visit to the Owl Cave Education Centre to develop the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing by giving the activities a purpose. We can conduct learning experiences with an English native speaker and an expert on the topics mentioned to give children a boost in their cultural understanding and remove language barriers.

We offer flexible formats, from interactive 45-minute workshops for small groups or inspiring longer presentations for larger groups. We can tailor the experience to your curriculum. Just let us know your focus, and we'll create a memorable educational journey!
Our half-day package provides opportunities to watch our amazing birds of prey show off their fantastic adaptations. Our experienced handler will carry out flying demonstrations as well as engaging talks about our birds and provide opportunities for some handling. These can take place in the morning or afternoon.
Our full day package enables longer sessions and more handling opportunities. This gives greater flexibility with smaller group sizes, with opportunities to cover content in more detail.
