At the Owls' Cave, we are dedicated to creating a unique sanctuary for nature lovers. Our mission is to provide an interesting space where people can relax, learn, enjoy meeting owls and other birds of prey up close, and connect with friends. Join us in a world where every visit leads to life-lasting memories and inspires both children and adults to want to do more for these amazing birds and nature conservation.
The Owls' Cave is a unique family educational experience centre nestled in the heart of Kraków, Poland! While we're not an owl café, we offer an unforgettable experience where you can hold an owl and learn about the fascinating world of birds of prey. Our mission is to educate you on the history of falconry, conservation efforts, and the natural habitats of these magnificent birds. With activities for children and families, you'll leave with smiles on your faces and unforgettable first-hand knowledge of owls and raptors in both the wild and captivity.

No bookings or reservations needed, just come along and pay on the day
To enter the Owls' Cave the price is 60zl per person.
For a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children) it's 200zl
This includes holding the birds and an educational presentation about the birds, falconry and conservation.
Most days around 4pm or 5pm there is an indoor flying show featuring a few of the birds. To take part in this, the price is 80zl per person, or 300zl for a family of 4.
* Please note that presentations are done in English Language. If you'd like us to arrange translation into Polish, please contact us in advance to arrange the visit as a private booking.

What to expect inside the Owls Cave
When you enter the Owls' Cave Experience Centre you are greeted by the head falconer, who will ask you to take a seat.
The head falconer will then explain some safety precautions about handling the birds and will begin a presentation which lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on how many guests there are.
The presentation includes facts about the birds, important information about conservation and an explanation of falconry past and present. During this time each bird is shown to the audience and you can hold the birds as we go along.
Later in the day there is currently a short flying show which demonstrates how we train and fly the Harris Hawk and a few other birds. In the future, this will become a separate event at an additional cost.
