The Owl Cave Policy & Disclaimer

A legal disclaimer

At  The Owls' Cave Experience Centre, we try to provide the best possible service to each individual who purchases any of our offers or anyone who visits any of our venues. We try to personalise every experience according to the needs of the customer therefore it is important that you contact us with any questions or requests that you might have ahead of your booked event. We can then do our best to tailor our experience to your requirements and give everyone the best day they deserve.

At The Owls' Cave we do our best to keep your activities as safe as possible. Before handling any of our birds we give each person a safety talk explaining the dos and don'ts and provide you with all the information needed to stay safe while enjoying your unique experience.

All animals can be unpredictable at times, and therefore, we do urge all our customers to consider this before taking part in any of our activities. If you feel something is not for you, you have a choice and can always sit something out or change your mind about doing something with our birds. We will never put our customers in any dangerous positions, but the customers must behave in a way that doesn't put themselves or the birds at risk.

We recommend certain activities for certain age groups and put together our events through years of knowledge and experience. The recommended minimum age for children taking part in our activities is 6 years old (with the exception of our school/educational visits, in which case we can offer our services to a younger audience under stricter controlled means.

Flying Birds of Prey is fun and something which should be enjoyed by all who are interested in these magnificent creatures. At our outdoor venues there are times however, where natural factors affect our events taking place, for example, heavy winds and rains, and adverse weather conditions. If these forces of nature stop us from being able to go ahead with certain activities, we will be in touch with you to try to reschedule for a better time when mother nature doesn't pose any threats or danger to the people or birds taking part. Of course this doesn't apply to our indoor venues; however, if our birds are stressed or unable to be present for any reason, we have the right to inform you and try to reschedule the event or make the appropriate changes.
